The Sodbury Summer Search: FREE Family Fun in South Gloucestershire

Happy Sunday friends,

I'm really excited to share with you that the Sodbury Summer Search 2016 begins tomorrow!

This free trail will take families around the vibrant market town of Chipping Sodbury on the hunt for 30 furry (toy) creatures in shop windows.

Simply pick up a trail map (yes, this fun activity is free) from the Chipping Sodbury Tourist Information Centre located under the Clock Tower in the high street, and identify the names of all 30 furry animals hiding in the town.

Don't forget to hand in your completed trail maps back into the tourist information centre to receive a certificate, and to be entered into a prize draw to win one of the furry animals! You have until Saturday, 3rd September to take part.

A huge thank you to the Sodbury Chamber of Commerce for organising this fun free family activity for the summer holidays.

Let me know if you visit Chipping Sodbury to complete the trail: I'd love to see your photos over on the blog's Facebook page. For out-of-town visitors, may I recommend you pop into Swagger for unique gifts, Ice'n'Easy for all your cooking & baking needs, Hobbs House Bakery for a bite to eat, plus a wonder through Hatherell's Yard for pop-up shops! The high street boasts lots of local independent businesses, and you know I love to #ShopLocal & #SupportLocal!

You can also meet a real-life owl and hedgehog by coming along to their 'Meet & Greet' on Wednesday, 3rd August between 11am and 12pm at The Beautfort Hunt!
