Oktoberfest Event at the Bristol Bavarian Beerhouse

Hiya everyone,

Some of you may recall that Lee and I lived in Munich, Germany for a couple of years before we had children, and many of our fondest memories include exploring (and enjoying!) the numerous local beer festivals and of course, the huge & famous, Oktoberfest.

When I heard about Bavarian Beerhouse opening in my city of Bristol, I was thrilled to be invited to their launch party back in August 2013 - check out that blog post HERE. And then, I was invited back with my family to sample and enjoy a lunch to review right here on this blog - check out that blog post HERE.

And now the Bavarian Beerhouse is hosting an "Oktoberfest in Bristol" event starting on 30th September and ending on the 4th October which sounds amazing. Arriving at the Beerhouse between those dates, and you will be warmly greeted by waitresses in Dirndl dresses and waiters in Lederhosen, and you'll adore the selection of freshly-imported German beers and delicious traditional German food.

The atmosphere will be filled with lively Oompah music, with a live Oompah band playing 7pm til 11pm (Friday & Saturday, 7pm til 1am), and dancing on the tables is encouraged! Just like the original Oktoberfest in Munich!

Admission to the Oktoberfest in Bristol event is free, but bookings are strongly recommended.

You can find out more at the Bavarian Beerhouse's website, Facebook and Twitter. Their Bristol location is centrally located, close to Queen Square, on Queen Charlotte Street.
