Military wives to host a unique wedding in Oxfordshire
Lula Mai Events, in partnership with Witney Lake Resorts, are hosting a wedding on April 3rd 2015 at the Resort for a deserving couple from a military or emergency services background.
Lula Mai Events is a team of military wives, based at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, specialising in wedding & event planning, and supplying goods & services to facilitate this. In January 2014, they took the decision to put on a wedding for a couple from the military or emergency services background and launched Lula Mai - The Big Day.
Who can apply?
The opportunity is open to anyone within the military (tri-service, Police Force, Fire or Ambulance Service, including Air Ambulance) that holds a valid ID or service number. As these are retained for life, it is open to retired members also.

Progress so far
Lula Mai Events have secured 90% of the items and services required for the project, with the current value estimated at £18,000. The team are still trying to source menswear for the groom & best-man, wedding cars, bridesmaid dresses and a live band.
