Although shy & tentative, there were no tears from Tristan - only happy teaes from mummy! And after we found his cloakroom peg, he happily trotted into the classroom all by himself.
When we picked him up, he was so smiley, and chatting randomly about what he got up to! It seems he's made friends with a couple of girls (my little ladiesman, heehee), and they all played 'home' in the garden playhouse. Cute!
I treated Tristan to his favourite dinner - spaghetti with homemade meatballs & sauce. Delicious!
We also sat down as a family and watched Monsters Inc to relax and bond before bed.
How did your children cope with their first day of school? Did you have happy tears too (please tell me I'm not alone, heehee).
