.......opening Summer 2013!
I was lucky to be involved in a Wild Place focus group earlier this year at Bristol Zoo, and I have been eagerly awaiting developments to share!
Today, I discovered their newly created Facebook page and website!

The Wild Place Project will be a fun, family attraction that will provide adventure, play and learning, with an emphasis on protecting threatened habitats on our doorsteps and around the globe.
This summer, guests will be able to visit some of the exciting animals from Madagascar, east Africa and the Congo and find out how we’re helping to conserve them in the wild.
Families can also get involved in a variety of outdoor adventures from climbing up the scramble net in the Fun Fort, to taking off your shoes and enjoying a variety of textures on the Barefoot Trail.
This is fantastic and so local to us, and we cannot wait for it to open! They still need to confirm an opening date though.
