As promised, here are some photos of my DIY manicure using Avon Color Trend nail enamel in Very Violet
Before & After! The final finish was 3 coats of the polish to get this gorgeous violety-lilac with slight shimmer of pink colour!
I, of course, protected and primed my nails using a clear varnish, and set the varnish with a top coat.
The colour is slightly weak, hence the 3 coats I applied, but it does have a decent dry time too. I naturally have soft flaky nails, so will be interesting to see how long they last before the colour chips or flakes. It's been about 16 hours since I applied, and I had a shower this morning and the nails still look perfect!
Gorgeous colour - very springtime!
