Last week our RNLI Beach Smart pack arrived for Tristan and Scarlett. This was a promotion via RNLI to help families stay beach smart over the summer and to help raise awareness of RNLI services.
Our "Beach Smart" pack included two snapbands and a children's activity book. They also included a waterproof pen to write my name and mobile number on the underside of Tristan and Scarlett's snapbands. That way, if either of them ever got lost when out'n'about, we can easily and quickly be reunited.
I *think* the campaign is now finished but here is the link to the RNLI Beach Smart website.
As these snapbands are made of durable rubber, they will be great for when we go on future day trips! As well as being brightly coloured and easily spotted on their wrists, it will also mean they have an ID band all ready...just in case they wonder off, or get lost in a crowd.
