Today is: Bandanas for Brain Tumours Day

Here is Scarlett and myself wearing our bandanas in support of The Brain Tumour Charity!

Today is "Bandanas for Brain Tumours Day" and its aim is to raise awareness of the amazing work the charity does and to help raise funds for research. The Brain Tumour Charity is one of the biggest financiers of research into brain tumour treatment and cures in the UK, so please do check out their work via their website and Facebook.

Here are some statistics from The Brain Tumour Charity

Did you know that over 9,100 people are diagnosed with a primary brain tumour each year? That's approx 25 people every single day?

Over 500 of these are children and young people

Almost 5,000 people lose their lives to a brain tumour every year

Just 14% of adults survive for five years after diagnosis

See more statistics and facts here.

It would be amazing if you could also support this fantastic cause by wearing a bandana, create a Twibbon, or just easily share this blog post with your friends and family. Thank you
