Biba & Rose Jewellery: Christmas Gift Feature #1

Good afternoon everyone!

With Christmas around the corner (dare I remind you it's 86 sleeps to go??), I wanted to feature some local brands here on my blog over the next few months to inspire your Christmas gift list.

Today, I'm featuring the beautiful jewellery from Biba & Rose.

Hand-making the Biba & Rose jewellery collection in her Cotswold-based studio, Rosemary specialises in using freshwater pearls and silver in her designs. I met Rosemary at her pop-up shop in Hatheralls Yard in Chipping Sodbury where I was able to see all her stunning designs and chat to her about Biba & Rose.

Biba & Rose is truly a beautiful collection of jewellery, including necklaces, bracelets and earrings, and I was really pleased when Rosemary accepted my request to feature her jewellery right here on my blog to share with you all.

Rosemary revealed to me that the current bestseller from the collection is this gorgeous beaten silver heart on a grey pearl necklace, which is complimented with a matching bracelet and earrings.

My personal favourites from the Biba & Rose selection are the Murano glass pendants, especially the red version which you can find here on the website.

And here are more beautiful pieces from the Biba & Rose collection:

As you can see, Rosemary is truly creative and talented: she completed a jewellery course in 2007, followed by a silver-smithing course in 2012. And all her pieces would make lovely Christmas presents. Perhaps I need to drop a hint or two to Daddy Howe about the Murano glass pendant I'm adoring!

All the above jewellery, and more, is available to purchase online at the Biba & Rose website but if you are after custom-made pieces, perhaps a special bespoke item for a wedding, do contact Rosemary who would be delighted to assist you.

You will also find Rosemary parading her magnificent designs at various craft & wedding fayres (see her Facebook page and website for these announcements), but you'll also find her pop-up shop at the new Hatheralls Yard in the market town of Chipping Sodbury. Her pop-up shop is open on 10th & 11th October, and 3rd til 8th November 2014.

I also want to do a shout-out to Pink Hannah Designs and Koala Kreations, who also had pop-up shops in Hatheralls Yard when I visited!

Pink Hannah Designs handcrafts items using fabrics, especially tweeds,
to make amazing notice boards, prints, and more

Lianne, the lovely lady behind the Koala Kreations brand,
handmakes items such as jewellery, hair clips, and baby bibs,
but also personally selects items such as the children's rucksacks
and drinks bottles to compliment the shop
