We didn't tell him we were going until I picked him up from school that day, and he was so excited! He skipped all the way home, immediately got dressed out of his school uniform, and we waited not-so-patiently for daddy to come home from work.
Once daddy arrived home, all Tristan could say is "We're going to the circus!", and rushed Lee upstairs to help him out of his work clothes so we could set off.
As we drove nearer the circus site, I explained to Tristan that we needed to look out for the big circus tent. And then, we arrived.
As you can see, Tristan adored every moment of it! He said he enjoyed all of it, but his favourite bit was a circus classic, the two clowns! As he was so good during the 1.5 hour performance, we treated him to a Burger King dinner.
