This is an annual event where we Brits light fireworks and bonfires. Inspired by this, I created a fire-coloured nail art, using yellow, orange and reds.
Bye bye Halloween blood splatter nails
Clear, yellow, orange, red and dark red nail varnishes
Apply the clear varnish to help protect your nail, then two thin coats of the yellow
Using a near-dry brush, I dabbed the orange nail varnish on the middle part of the nail
Then the same with the red, but on the top third of the nail
I used the dark red to darken the very tip of the nail
Use a clear varnish to set the design, and voila!
those are to cute! I love the different colors and the way you combined them!
ReplyDeleteNo way - those came out awesome. And they're relatively easy to make, too. I will have to give these a try sometime for sure.
ReplyDeletewow i love the first one but they all look great think i will have to try it when we go out and have our bonfire tonight...
ReplyDeleteWow! Loving your nail designs. I can't do my nails like that unless I'm on vacation but by the time that comes around it'll be Christmas. :)
ReplyDeleteAlmost looks like candy corn-my favorite!! Heaven knows what would happen if I tried to do that on my nails-actually I don't even want to think about it- you have done a really great job! Your nails look amazing.
ReplyDeleteWell I have never seen anything like the firenail art.. but I like it. My Granddaughter loves doing her nails all different ways. Bet she would like this too.
ReplyDeleteThis looks great!! What a fun way to add to your day of celebration! Good Job!
ReplyDeleteThose turned out great! I need to get some time set aside so I can try some festive nail art.
ReplyDeleteI love the candy ones - the colours are cheerful in them as well which one a dull day is always good :) x
ReplyDeleteYour nails look great! I really wish I had the patience to make mine pretty like that, but it always ends up looking worse than when my 9 year old does hers lol.
ReplyDeleteI love the candy corn colors, that's fun. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat great nail art! Those candy corn nails are perfect for fall.

ReplyDeleteGuy Faulkes Night? Any night with fireworks is a good night. Your finger nails looked like candy corn at first but the finished product looks awesome.
ReplyDeleteWow! What great nails. I keep my nails very short, but if they were long, I would paint them like this!
ReplyDeleteI love your nails! I just need to learn to have patience to do my own nails instead of going to the salon :P
ReplyDeleteI never saw anything like this! Fun!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I'd do this tomorrow for a try!
ReplyDeleteYou are very creative and this would be perfect to match the fall colors we have right now.

ReplyDeleteI think those colors are perfect for this time of the year and my daughter would love this tutorial..
ReplyDeleteYou are more talented than I, for certain! I can barely paint my nails ONE color without a big mess or smudges!
ReplyDeleteYou are so good! If I tried to do that it would look like a blind 5 year old attacked me with nail polish!!
ReplyDeleteI love this idea! I never thought to create a fire on my nails. These would also be cute to wear to the opening night of Catching Fire :).
