We visited our local park

Hi everyone,

Tristan had an in-service/teacher training day at school so was home on Friday, so hubby took the day off work so we could have a nice long family weekend together!

We went to our local park which has numerous playgrounds all suitable for different age ranges, a large pond with ducks & swans, large green lawn to run-around on (and a hill to run up), and a little water-play area with a little stream - great for hot days or chilly days with wellies on!

Here are a few snapshots of our morning at the park!

And of course the best bit about visiting the park.....it's FREE!

Do you take full advantage of your local park?

  1. I actually don't do the park that much. We have a swing and slide in the backyard so Madison usually just gets on that. I think I'm too lazy to drive there as well and unlike yours there's no ducks to feed. :) The kids sure look like they are having lots of fun.

  2. Awww....looks like the kids had fun. Now that it's getting into Autumn we will be going to the park more often. I hate the heat so we didn't go all the time during the summer.

  8. I love our local parks. When my kids were young we took full advantage of them and it was also where many of their sports activities were held to. I use to walk around the park while my kids practiced.
